The weatherman predicted an 80% chance of rain. So we canceled our wildflower walk, right? Wrong! It was a small group this time, and that is really understandable. It rained on me the whole way as I drove to the preserve. Light rain continued off and on all day.

Mushroom Walk
Friday, June 20th from 10AM to 2PM David Lewis will be here to teach us about what we find at the preserve. Bring water and mosquito repellent.
Volunteer Workday
For the month of June you may join a work group at the preserve by sending an email to watsonrnpp@gmail.com. Put Volunteer in the subject line and tell us what day you want to come. You can request multiple days. Bring safety gear and mosquito repellent. We will provide tools, water and snacks.
