Hi, thanks for the add. I love the flora and fauna of the Big Thicket and have read all about Ms Watson and her work. While birding out that way my husband and I stopped by on Saturday, a spur of the moment visit and absolutely loved the private living-art filled world she has created there. Really admire her hard work and determination, I am much like she in that respect. You all do a wonderful job in making sure her legacy lives on. We will definitely be back.
It is still listed as tentative. Thank you, we can use your help. We want to try to cut some of the areas on the preserve where we are having trouble burning or mowing. The brush has gotten large and it will take much work to trim it. Trimming will allow more wildflowers to bloom. Please check this site as we get close to the date just in case it gets cancelled.
Thank you for the welcome! I've trained under Chris Trump for Korean Natural Farming. We take numerous collections of indigenous microorganisms from undisturbed settings and grow them out on a media then inoculate soil and farmland with the microbes. I also make several ferments and tinctures from plants, fruits, eggshells, bones, etc.

Thank you. September 28 is a tentative planned work day.
Thanks Kathleen. I wish I could have come for the Wildflower Walk.
Has 9/28 been confirmed as a work day? If you can use another volunteer and I can work it out, I'd be pleased to come.
