DSC04205 Fringe Tree (Chionanthus virginicus)
The fringe tree is easy to recognize when it is blooming--not so much so when it is not. Look at the leaf petioles where they join the stem. You will see some purple coloration. This helps distinguish it from other trees with simple leaves.
