The rain continued off and on, so we were grateful for the shelter of the cabin's back porch. David and Patricia Lewis identified most of the mushrooms on the spot. They will provide us with a list of species later, and we will post the list on this site.

Mushroom Walk
Friday, June 20th from 10AM to 2PM David Lewis will be here to teach us about what we find at the preserve. Bring water and mosquito repellent.
Volunteer Workday
For the month of June you may join a work group at the preserve by sending an email to watsonrnpp@gmail.com. Put Volunteer in the subject line and tell us what day you want to come. You can request multiple days. Bring safety gear and mosquito repellent. We will provide tools, water and snacks.
