The temperature was near 100 degrees before this midsummer day ended. A section of the boardwalk was repaired, and here, two of the volunteers pause to cool off for a minute. One is from Houston; one is from Dallardsville.

Mushroom Walk
Friday, June 20th from 10AM to 2PM David Lewis will be here to teach us about what we find at the preserve. Bring water and mosquito repellent.
Volunteer Workday
For the month of June you may join a work group at the preserve by sending an email to watsonrnpp@gmail.com. Put Volunteer in the subject line and tell us what day you want to come. You can request multiple days. Bring safety gear and mosquito repellent. We will provide tools, water and snacks.
