DSC02492 False Foxglove (Aureolaria grandiflora)

The false foxglove is also sometimes called the oak leach, because it is parasitic on the roots of oak trees. Notice how much the buds and flowers resemble those of the Carolina jessamine (Gelsemmium sempervirens). The later is a vine, however. The false foxglove is NOT a vine.
